Subject: Spontaneous transmission of information
Dear Colleague,
On June 28 in the South of Spain on the basis of an international arrest warrant an Italian, Danilo CHEMELLO, has been interrogated and the Spanish police has investigated his possible involvement in the disappearance of the little British girl Madeleine Mc Caan [not my typing error…] (Maddie) assuming that he and his companion, have tried to swindle the parents of the abducted minor while cheating them for a reward.
Danilo CHEMELLO is also wanted in France on the basis of arrest warrant of the Tribunal de Grande Instance in Nice having been sentenced in his absence on February 3 2006 for participation with a gang of criminals with the object of preparing a crime punished for a minimum of 5 years in prison. In this French affair, CHEMELLO, at the time in provisional detention in the frame of his prosecution for having abused his children, had hired a private detective to shadow the judge in charge of the case, in order to blackmail him.
During the conversations I have had with the office of the public prosecutor in Marseille, the colleagues have drawn my attention to other elements regarding Danilo CHEMELLO, which deserve, if you allow me to say so, to be communicated to the Portuguese public prosecutor’s office, which is handling the abduction of the minor Maddie.
I send you in annex a copy of a report on CHEMELO and his companion in which, apart from the bad treatment of his daughter Chiara for which he is reproached, the following elements appear regarding the couple CHEMELLO/PEREIRA:
– In 2000 and 2001 they’re supposed to have negotiated with American middlemen for the purchase of ova and the services of a surrogate mother
– They’re supposed to have had frozen embryos sent to a Greek doctor
– There are uncertainties regarding the parentage of the minors Allessandro and Chiara
– There are possibilities of disappeared children and faked pregnancies.
Under French law these elements can constitute criminal offences some of which may have been committed in the following countries: Russia, Byelorussia, Great Brittany, Greece, United States, Switzerland.
In the frame of these criminal activities which are related to the medical milieu, CHEMELLO and his companion may have been in contact with Gerry and Kate Mac Caan, parents of the minor Maddie, who are as for that matter both doctors [cardiologist and GP].
In the frame of the spontaneous transmission of information as foreseen in the convention of May 29 2000, the public prosecutor’s office in Marseille sends these elements to the competent authorities in Portugal and remains at their disposal for more complete information.
With kind regards,
El Magistrado de Enlace
Samuel VUELTA SIMON
