O. Enclosed is sent to Your Excellency, letter from PORTUGAL TELECOM, regarding
to the aforementioned Ing., whose investigation is in charge of the Inspector
João Carlos.

Description and result of the investigation: —By superior determination, I traveled, accompanied by Mr. Inspector Mário Ramos,
to Autorent III, located in Largo da Igreja, Praia da Luz, where, after contacting the employee Mrs. Maria Bandeirinha, it was confirmed, through the vehicle rental contract prior to that of Robert Murat and his one, that the vehicle with registration number 60- AX-86 was collected on May 12th of this year, at 10 am, in Monte de S. Pedro, next to the Campsite
de Valverde, with a record of 29,947 km.
…. Meanwhile, this same vehicle traveled with rent a car employees to Lagos and returned to Praia da Luz, where it was handed over to Robert Murat at 5:16 pm (according to a copy of the contract and RDL on pages 993 and 994). However, due to an error on the part of the employee who delivered the vehicle, the kms were not recorded, so it is estimated that
height about 30,000 km maximum.-
——That vehicle was later delivered to the Autorent III office, by the mother of the
Robert Murat, on May 14th, recording 30,706 km.

On the twenty-eighth day of May of the year two thousand and seven, VODAFONE and the
Department of Telecommunications and IT of the Judiciary Police extended the interception of the target with the number 1L769M (917462308) in accordance with
the court order issued on page 1557 of this investigation….. (The content of intercepted communications may, from this date onwards, continue to be at all
the time verified directly by M.° JIC, also via CD ROM.) – For the record, this document was drawn up, which will be duly signed by me, Inspector, who prepared it, and the original was sent to M.°. Criminal Investigation Judge and a copy attached
to this investigation.
