The investigative acts undertaken within the scope of this investigation, namely the collection of testimonial evidence, result in a description of an individual who, on the date/time of the events, was seen with a child on his lap, walking along Rua Professor Agostinho da
Silva – Praia da Luz, next to apartment 5 A of the “Luz” tourist complex
Ocean Club”, where the youngest MADBLAINE MACCANN was sleeping.
Because it becomes important to collect new information for possible correlation and analysis with a view to discerning and screening out possible identities obtained, in addition to that already explained in the case file, we dare to suggest that an appeal be made in the form of a Notice of
Press, the content of which must contain the following elements:
“Appeals to people who are Caucasian and are between 35 and 40
years of age, with average physical build,
1.70/75m tall,
COI short hair on the head, but covering the neck area, wearing a dark-colored jacket/jacket, light-colored fabric pants (beige or gold) and black shoes and that on May 3, 2007, approximately from 9:30 pm, he was circulating in the Praia da Luz area, and occasionally carrying a child on his lap or any object that could be confused with him,
please contact the Judiciary Police in order to collaborate to the authorities in clarifying the truth of the situation verified.
The appeal is extended to any other person who has seen the individual described, at the location and times mentioned, to please contact the

Taking into account the information above, namely the testimonial evidence that results in a description of an individual who, at the date/time of the occurrence of the facts, would have been seen with a
child on her lap, walking along Rua Professor Agostinho da Silva – Praia da Luz, next to apartment 5 A of the tourist complex “Luz Ocean Club”, the place where the youngest MADELAINE MACCANN was
was sleeping, it is important to collect new information for possible correlation and
analysis aimed at discerning and screening out possible identities obtained, in addition to the one already
explained in the documents.

Therefore, in this sense, because it appears to us to be of primary importance for the
discovery of the whereabouts of the missing minor, in accordance with the provisions of article 86 no. 5 of the CPP.
I authorize the Judiciary Police to publish, through the Social Communication in the form of a Notice of
Press, the request containing the elements referred to in the Fiscal Information. 1592 coming
marked in quotation marks.
Immediately return the files to the Judicial Police, delivering the files to
hand to the Inspector present in this Court.
