Comes to the process as a witness. She is an employee of the OC and has worked there for two weeks having a seven-month work contract as a waitress. Previously she lived in Lisbon.

When questioned, she said that she came to the Algarve with her boyfriend Joel Lucio and got work at the OC with the aim of studying hotel management.

Her place of work is inside the kitchen so she does not have any contact with guests.

She never saw any members of the missing girl’s family.

She heard about the events from the numerous leaflets that were up in the streets, hearing about the disappearance on Friday. When she began work the disappearance was the subject of conversation, but she never heard anything that could be of interest to the investigation.

In spite of only having started work recently she never saw or heard anything suspicious in the area. She did not see anyone behaving suspiciously.

She was at work when the child went missing. Her working hours are from 15.30 to 24.00 with a half hour break at 21.30.
