She comes to the process as a witness. She works at the Millenium Restaurant, OC resort.

She does not speak Portuguese and is assisted by the interpreter, Robert Murat.

She says that this is the first year she has worked at the OC but she has worked in Lagos for five years for a removals company which she owned and sold in December because it was not making a profit. She began work at the OC on 26 March 2007, has an 8 month contract and is an employee of the Millenium restaurant.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays she works at the restaurant, serving at the tables from 07.30 to 15.30.

When asked, she says she does not know Madeleine’s parents, but she does remember the arrival of their group as it was a large group. She does not remember having served them at the table.

She saw nothing unusual about the group, nothing to draw her attention. Since she began work at the OC she does not remember anyone having asked about its functioning, or anything suspicious.

The restaurant is quite far away and after serving the guests they would leave and she did not see anyone closely.

On 3rd May she worked as usual and did not see anything suspicious.
