I am bringing to your attention the fact that today at 18.20 a phone call was received by this police force from a man who identified himself as J***** S***** who said that yesterday on 04-05-2007 when he was at Pingo Doce in Linda a Velha he saw a girl inside a shopping trolley in the company of a dark skinned woman and he now thinks this could have been the missing English girl from the Algarve

This information was immediately sent to the Portimao DIC to Inspector Vaz. Am bringing this to your attention in case it is relevant.
