Subject: Missing Girl \u2013 Madeleine Beth McCann, Born 12-05-2003<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are sending the statement of a possible witness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marie-Charlotte Groenevold, born on 24-09-1970 in Gorinchen (sic), resident in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The person mentioned above states that she was on holiday between 28-04-2007 and 05-05-2007. On 05-05-2007 she was in a restaurant. She cannot remember the name of the restaurant but it was in the Berge area, at the first service station in Luxembourg, after crossing the French border. She was accompanied by her boyfriend, her daughter and one of her daughter\u2019s friends, her sister in law, her two children and her sister in law\u2019s husband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She got up from the table at about 18.30. At that moment she saw a man of Moroccan origin, shouting at another \u201cNegroid type\u201d man \u201cstay sitting there\u201d. The \u201cNegroid type\u201d man did not respond, he had a docile attitude he was sitting in a corner next to the children\u2019s play area. The witness saw the Moroccan man head in the direction of the self-service. He was holding the hand of a girl, who was not walking very quickly. The witness did not manage to see the girl\u2019s face properly but she did notice that the girl did not appear to be happy. She was walking behind the man who was holding her hand. The man did not speak to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The witness, who was 15 metres away from them remembers that the girl had straight brown hair in a page boy cut, was about 3 years old and of European appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She does not remember how the girl was dressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Description of the two men in question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Moroccan man was aged between 30 and 33, wearing fashionable clothing, with short dark hair.
The \u201cNegroid\u201d type man was aged about 30, clothing unknown.
The witness did not see any woman accompanying the two men.
There was a boy of Moroccan appearance at the restaurant till and a Belgian couple who entered the restaurant, this persons could perhaps have heard or seen something.
