Joan Brenda Smith de Azevedo Coutinho<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Occupation: Secretary to the Director<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place of Work: Ocean Club<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She works as Secretary to the director at the OC. She has been employed by the OC since 2000 and held the same function for twenty years in Lagos for the same company that constructed the OC – “Apartamento – Sociedade de Construccao SA”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She works from 09.30 to 13.00 and sometimes, when there is much work, from 14.30-18.00 seeing as she provides all secretarial assistance to the director of the OC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said she does not have contact with the clients and does not know Madeleine’s parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday of last week she went to Lisbon and returned on Saturday and therefore was not at the resort on the day of the events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked, she said she did not see or hear anyone or anything strange. Nobody questioned her about the functioning of the resort or about the type of guests staying there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
